The Diddy Laugh is a very commonly used sound effect, which often appears in TV, radio and film. When I hear it, it is like being hit in the ears with an iron. I like to point it out to people, who usually look blankly at me. Now I pass this affliction on to you.

Another movie trailer, this time Southland Tales
Can you smell what the Rock is cooking? A rubbish film and a creepy sounding kid.
Thank god someone else has noticed this horrible stock laugh! I used to play Diddy Kong Racing as a kid and ever since its been haunting me in films and adverts the lot, heard it just yesterday in the film "Bright Star" listen out for it... Who originally used/did the laugh I'd love to know.
